Siliguri Rallies for Stringent Action Against Animal Torturers [VIDEO]

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 3rd September, 2017: Today a rally was organized by a voluntary organization helping street animals named Animal Helpline Siliguri for spreading awareness to stop atrocities against stray animals in the streets.
There was also demand of stringent punishment and Act against atrocities against animal torture. The rally started from 3 pm from Siliguri’s Baghajatin Park and ended at Sevok road by making a large human chain. According to the organizers, the main aim of the rally was to bring forth the attention of both the state and central government about the poor plight of the animals in the streets, who don’t have a human voice to be heard.
